We are honored to conduct the estate sale of Alta Franks and her late husband, John. They were pillars of the community of North Shreveport and ardent philanthropists who supported many local causes.
We have 8000 sf of elegant, luxury brand furniture and decorative accessories originating from Yarborough’s and decorated by Winburn Curlin. We have an outstanding assortment of 18k and other jewelry, such as David Yurman, Marco Bicego, Marchisio, and Roberto Coin. Watches: Piaget, Chopard, Ullman & Pollak, Rolex, and Omega.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO, AS IT WILL MAKE YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EASIER…
The gates to the property will open at 8 am. One or more sheriff deputies will monitor parking in the assigned area.
NO parking on Old Mooringsport Road; you will be ticketed. If you desire to be there when the gates open, you may temporarily park and wait in the parking lot across the street from Trinity Heights Church, do not park in the lot where the church is situated.
Items in the garage must be paid for at that cashier site; there will be no entrance from the garage into the home; all must enter the home via the front door, where traffic will be monitored by an officer. Items purchased outside cannot be brought inside the home.
All items in the garage must be paid for at that cashier station. Items paid for in the garage cannot be brought into the home; you must place them in your car or arrange for them to be held there.
The home will have a large check-out area, with 2 or 3 cashiers and a wrapping station.
All items in the home will be paid for there, except that the jewelry and a large group of smalls, purses, and furs. These items will be located in a separate room where an armed sheriff’s deputy will monitor traffic, and only two people at a time can enter the jewelry area. Any item located in that room must be paid for in that room at that cashier station. Jewelry purchases will be placed in a sealed bag for you.
There will also be other armed Sheriff Deputies and plainclothes security folks throughout the entire home at all times. Monitored security cameras are located throughout the home…..
There are 14 rooms downstairs and three big rooms upstairs, and each room is filled. After the first few hours, the garage doors will be closed, and the entrance to the garage will be through the kitchen laundry area.
Don’t fail to explore the entire home, as each room is full. We have placed several signs throughout to assist you.
There are a huge amount of breakable items in the home, and we ask that you do not bring small children to the sale.
